Description
A funky little Star branded pickup shell I picked up on Ebay empty and placed on one of my own handwound Firebird coils. Star is a little known brand built by Hoshino Gakki Ten (Tama) they produced guitars under the Ibanez, Cimar and Goldentone badges along with others. The pickup inside is one side of a Firebird pickup 6.5K complete with an Alnico 5 bar magnet. It has a nice well balanced clean tone and the rebuild was a success.
