A nice good solid ’70s Fender 5-way switch in good condition with some wear. The 5-way was introduced in 1977 to replace the standard 3-way switch and this style followed through to the Smith Strats of 1982. You will see swags of these 5-ways being sold as pre ’77 originals but that is a porky pie! This one has had the bridge pickup wired into the tone control so it has solder residue on that terminal. It has been fully tested, all terminals are tight and has nice strong stops and contact between positions. It does not come with the original screws or switch tip but new stainless screws will be included.
