Description

A collection of DEAD Maxon pickups all need repair all sourced from Japan and I have done detective work on a few.  Most of the time the solder degrades on the coil ends and they are easy to repair,  the hard part is the sticky mess the tape residue leaves.  Selling as a complete lot with detail below on each and I will not separate.

  • 1973 Greco stamped EB style bass bridge pickup with all inner parts.  I have stripped the coil back and it needs a full rewind and assembly, it has 13cm long lead but no screws/springs.
  • 1973 set neck and bridge from a Kasuga built flame top Gaban Les Paul.  The tops were painted black I have removed some paint but it took a bit of elbow grease.  These need the coil ends soldered on all 4 bobbins and also need to be glued back together.  They come with the original relic mounts but no screws/springs, neck lead 18cm bridge only 2cm long.
  • 1973 Bridge from a Greco EG-420 black open top with white bobbins.  It has not been opened so you might have some luck with the coils. 19cm long lead no screws/springs.
  • 1973 Greco embossed neck from an EG-420 so it will work as a pair with the bridge above.   It has not been opened so you might have some luck with the coils. 21cm long lead with original screws/springs.
  • 1973 Chrome cover neck probably Greco EG-360 or SG-360.  It has not been opened so you might have some luck with the coils. 32cm long lead no screws/springs.
  • 1973 neck no cover it needs a complete rewind on both coils but the wire is still there. No cover or screws/springs with a 32cm long lead.
  • 1974 neck probably Eg-420 it has no cover but the coils still have the tape on them so you might have some luck reviving them.  38cm long braided lead with no screws/springs.
