Description
A 1978 Greco Maxon U1000 neck pickup in relic condition, it reads 7.57k cold and has a sand cast Alnico 5 magnet. The cover has been off and there are dents and such on the side but it is the original Nisshin Onpa cover. The bobbins underneath are in relic condition so this pickup has done the hard yards uncovered for awhile. There is a chunk out of the screw side bobbin that might be a soldering iron burn, see pics. When I got it the cover was poorly soldered so I had a look to verify all was good under there and soldered it back on properly. This pickup has been re-waxed potted at some stage. It comes with nice 34.5cm long original braided lead. It does not have the original screws/springs but comes with new chrome ones.
