Description
Times are busy with my pickups so I build website stock when I can and list them when they are in stock. If the pickup model you are require is not in stock please contact for an ETA.
A calibrated set of Vintage ’50s Broadcaster style Tele pickups wound to ’50s specs with Plain enamel wire and alnico 3 magnets. These pickups nail the early ’50s Tele tone with a bright bridge with plenty of volume and a slightly edgy neck pickup that is a combo of both warmth and brightness.
Neck pickup “B-Caster”
I wind my B-Caster neck pickups to the original ’50s Broadcaster/Nocaster specs and I use the same pickup in my N-caster set. I use ’50s spec 43 AWG Plain enamel wire and larger .195 inch alnico 3 magnets. The alnico 3’s give this pickup a little more of a sharper attack and bite on the highs than the CBS but still retains that warmth and vintage vibe.

Bridge “B-Caster”
This is my take on the original ’50s Broadcaster pickup. I wind these with 43 AWG Plain enamel and alnico 3 magnets to produce an 8.85k pickup. The coil is slightly more condensed with this wire producing a slim coil with high DC resistance. The result is a tight bottom end and a nicely rounded top end that is not too bright. I use a zinc plated baseplate just like the originals.
