My Classic series bridge has a big clear bright tone with a tight bottom end and it breaks up nice with some drive. For this pickup I took the standard 50s flat pole design with alnico 3 magnets and have wound it using plain enamel wire.  Think of an overwound Nocaster with the perks of alnico 3 magnets and vintage wire without the ice pick.  You can get a nice clean traditional tone as well as a great biting drive, this pickup is very popular for it’s versatility.

  • Available in right and lefthanded

I’ve had the pleasure of playing through a Leddin Pickup for over a year now. It’s also featured in my band, ‘Good Will Remedy’ on our latest album – “Silver Lined”.
In my ’91 Japanese Tele, we switched out the SD ‘hot rails’ bridge for one of Dave’s ‘Classic Tele’ bridge p/ups. It is rated at 9k, and when added to the stock 7k neck p/up in the middle selector position, I have the best of both worlds, especially when I hit the sweet spot on my amp.
Dave is very conscientious when it comes to an eye for detail. He ‘relic’ed the new pickup to match the age and patina of my old butterscotch blond.

    Hi Dave,

Mate all I can say is Amazing! You have hit the nail
Right on the head with this pickup you wound for me.

Had the exact tone I was after but blew my expectations
As it is so versatile. Still keeps that Tele character but can
Really rock if pushed and roll back the tone to get into AC/DC
Territory. Paired up perfect with my humbucker In the neck.
The highs had a really nice musical note to them Without being too
harsh and the low end is fat but tight and can Get some real snap
    for some “chikn pikn” stuff.

Will definitely be recommending you to other guitarists!

Really appreciate the speed you got this to me in.

    Thanks again!
