Vintage Nickel Shadow sound hole acoustic pickup – Made in Germany

Description

An original vintage Shadow sound hole pickup humbucker sized for acoustic.  I think it is a single coil in a humbucker cover, I can only see one set of bobbin mounting screws at the back.  It is nickel with some patina and character and has made in Germany stamped on the back.  A rather obscure pickup there is not much info out there but I did find an old listing for one.  It is spring loaded with rubber grips and its very easy to slide into the sound hole.  I tested it in a Cort with a 10cm diameter sound hole and it had a rich dynamic sound.  The original jack lead is cut off and there is an RCA plug with an adaptor block for a standard 1/4inch 6.5mm lead to plug into.  I can put a standard jack plug end on at no cost, just keeping options open.  The 2.9 metre long original orange cord is still intact, it has a 23cm long extension with an RCA jack.
