1980 – 1982 Fender USA Smith Stratocaster pickup pair neck + middle 5.76k – Original windings

Description

A pair of 1980-82 Smith Strat pickups neck and middle both read 5.76k with original windings and original white covers.  These came from Japan in a parts lot and they were used in the top tier Fender Japan models like the ST72-115 ’70s reissue guitars for example.  This set has smaller thread Japanese countersunk screws but will accommodate USA thread screws if installed with care.  These pickups are period correct for 1980-82 USA Smith Strats and also the 1980-81 3 bolts and International colour series.  They are in typical condition with some rust and patina on the poles and wear on the covers.  The middle pickup has large blobs on the pickup lead solder joints I have seen this before on many Smith Strats but then again they might have been retouched but it would have been long ago though looking at the solder.
