1983 – 1984 Fender USA Smith Stratocaster bridge pickup 5.9k – Original windings

Description

A 1983-84 Smith Strat bridge pickup with original windings and a later ’90s Fender USA cover.  This pickup is period correct for two knob 1983-84 USA Smith Strats and I have encountered them in mid ’80s high end Fender Japan ’70s reissues.  It is in good condition with some patina on the poles and has the original lead length.  It has been rewaxed and this this evident in the pics.  This pickup series is non RWRP lengthened to fit the neck or middle and still phase with originals.  It comes with a slightly grubby 1990s Fender USA cover that looks the part.  It comes with new stainless mushroom head screws and rubber mounts.

• 5.9k cold with poly wire
• Part number 016730 in early ’80s style font
• Alnico 5 magnets
• Blue ground lead = 7cm (Slightly faded)
• White hot lead = 12.5cm
• 1990s white USA cover
• Original length leads for bridge position.
• It is wound clockwise with south up magnets
• New stainless mushroom head screws with new rubber mounts
