Description
An original 1983 JV Fender Squier Strat neck pickup with original windings and cover. Taken straight out the neck position of a basket case 1983 JV Squier CST-50 Strat. It reads 5.9k on the meter cold leaning more towards the SQ-5 output, most SQ-4s that I have measured are around 5.75k. These are also found in the early SQ serial 3 bolts and Contemporary series. It has the yellow wax pencil stripe down the side of the bottom of the bobbin, a typical JV domestic pickup trait. Non beveled Alnico magnets, fiber bobbin and non stagggered poles wound with 42 AWG poly wire. It is in good working condition but has some patina on the poles and wear on the cover. It comes with the original screws and springs.
