I sold this 1964 Jaguar for client in Vancouver. It had a black matching headstock to find these with black and gold is pretty rare. Before I could authenticate it I had to find someone who had actually seen one of these in the flesh. I ended up talking to guy down at Rudy’s music in New York they have sold more than anyone else. These black Jags only had the Fender logo on them and the rest was left out so that is an original headstock. The bodies were died yellow then painted sunburst with the custom colours over the top.
