Vancouver guitarist Lloyd asked me to find him a nice vintage L5 CES. I scoured the internet and finally found one down in the States and had it shipped up. I was pretty nervous as it had a $7500 price tag but when it arrived I was relieved. I had to give it a clean up, restring and a good set up but the tone that came out of this old guitar was breathtaking. It was a one owner piece and still had the receipt where he had traded in a Gibson Byrdland for it. Lloyd still has it and will probably be buried with it.
