Description
This fine 1968 SG came into my shop to refit the original pickup and a clean up. The owner decided to sell it afterwards but before that I had to authenticate it. Here are the detailed pics I took of it showing the markings and significant parts. It had a Gibson pat # mini humbucker in the bridge but a mount had been made to fit it so the body routing and pickguard were still intact. It had been re-fretted for jumbos but other than that it was original and looked great by the time I had finished with it.
