1983 Fender Squier Japan JV SST45 Stratocaster SQ-4 pickup set

Description

An original set of 1983 Fender Squier JV SST45 SQ-4 Strat pickups taken out of a MIJ ’62 guard which had a modified 1983 JV pot set.  They are in light relic condition with rust and patina on the poles and light yellowed covers.  Original windings, bevelled alnico staggered poles, screws/springs, covers and leads.  All have done is take them out of the guard authenticate them and take some pics so there is probably original 1983 dirt in there!  These are the vintage voiced SQ-4s so they would have come out an SST45 57 or 62 and the pots were dated Jan 1983.  They are built on black fiber bobbins with vintage bevelled staggered alnico 5 poles.  They have the original leads and both sets of masking tape so they will slot straight back into a JV to complete a project.
